      Q. Is there an Avaya cost center to cross charge expenses for this event?
      A. There will be no cross charging allowed for this event. All expenses will be the responsibility of the individual, including:

      • Travel (airline tickets and all associated fees)
      • Transportation (cab/rideshare, gas, mileage)
      • Hotel Accommodations
      • Individual sponsorship and greens fees
      • Meals (except those included with greens fee)
      • Account manager sponsorship of customers/partners/vendors to attend

      Q. What is the nearest airport?
      A. The following two airports are closest to Pinehurst Resort:

      • Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) approx. 110 miles
      • Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) approx. 75 miles

      Q. Are there any airport transfer options available between Pinehurst and local airports?
      A. Please download the attached airport transfer shuttle service flyer. Please note that Pinehurst does not operate their airport transfer service out of Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Airports serviced include Raleigh-Durham (RDU), Moore County (SOP), Fayetteville (FAY), and Greensboro (GSO).

      Q. What is included in my greens fee?
      A. Your greens fee includes:

      • Parking at Pinehurst Golf Club
      • 18 holes of golf at Pinehurst No. 2 • Food & beverage (brunch prior to start, snacks/drinks on course and post-event reception)
      • Use of practice range prior to event start
      • Cart

      Q. What is the weather like?
      A. Temperatures in North Carolina range in the mid to upper-70’s. More accurate forecasts will be available as the event date draws near.

      Q. What is the event cancellation policy?
      A. This event is rain or shine. Day-of adjustments due to inclement weather will be made by club management based on the playability of the course.

      Q. What is the deadline to register?
      A. The deadline to register and pay for your round/foursome is September 27.

      Q. What types of sponsorship are available?
      A. There are a variety of player and non-player sponsorships available. Visit our website for more information.

      Q. Who is eligible to participate?
      A. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome to participate and sponsor at the Inaugural Avaya Charity Golf Outing. This event is open to Avaya Partners, Customers, Vendors and Employees. No MDF funds are available for this event. All expenses incurred must be paid by the individual or organization.

      Q. How do I volunteer?
      A. Please email golf@avaya.com with your location, and a member of the Corporate Responsibility and Philanthropy team will contact you about linking you to one of our locations to do a joint Month of Giving project.
